La Semana de la Ciencia, la Tecnología y la Innovación es el mayor evento celebrado en el País Vasco para acercar la ciencia, la tecnología  y la innovación a la sociedad.

Durante los días del 5 al 9 de noviembre la mayoría de las entidades vascas dedicadas a la ciencia, la tecnología, la investigación y la comunicación participaron en este evento con un amplio programa de actividades. Este evento se celebró en las tres provincias vascas al mismo tiempo.

El objetivo de este acto era que los ciudadanos entendieran y se apasionasen  con la ciencia y la tecnología, teniendo  la oportunidad de relacionarse con científicos e investigadores.

Formula Student Bizkaia estuvo presente en esta XIV edición.  Este año acudimos al evento con el FSB2012, coche de combustión y el FSB2014, nuestro último coche eléctrico. En nuestro  stand de la Alhóndiga Bilbao expusimos varias piezas de ambos coches, como  las setas de emergencia, las placas electrónicas, la tulipa, los palieres, el impact atenuator…. Otro de los atractivos de nuestro stand fue el simulador de conducción, que permite  sentirte como un auténtico piloto en acción.

Este evento es una gran oportunidad para el equipo, ya que nos permite difundir nuestro proyecto a los más jóvenes, con el fin de animarles a seguir formándose para lograr aquellas metas que se propongan. De igual modo, no dejamos de lado al resto de personas que tienen interés en nuestro proyecto, explicándoles nuestros objetivos y logros, así como agradecer a aquellos colaboradores que se acercan a nuestro stand.

Estamos encantados de participar en este acontecimiento y muy agradecidos por el interés mostrado por parte de todos los ciudadanos.  ¡Nos vemos el próximo año!

The Science, Technology and Innovation Week is the most important event hosted in the Basque Country focused in science, technology and innovation.

During the week, from November 5th until the 9th, the Basque entities working in science, technology, investigation and communication have participated in this event, offering a wide variety of activities in the three provinces of the Basque Country.

The aim of this Week is to establish a closer relationship between society and science and technology. This week has been created in order to awake people’s passion and interest in the scientific world by interacting with scientists and investigators.

Formula Student Bizkaia has been represented in this 14th edition by our combustion vehicle, the FSB2012 and the FSB2014, our very last electric car. Moreover, we have been exhibiting in our stand some components of both cars, such as, the impact attenuator, a few bearings, some circuit boards, an emergency stop button… Nevertheless, the main attraction was our personalized driving simulator, which allows you to feel like an actual Formula Student driver.

This event is a great opportunity for our team, since we can show our project to the general public. This way, we encourage children to continue studying in order to accomplish their desired goals. At the same time, we also answered the questions of the people that came to our stand, explained our objectives, goals and achievements and we also thanked our collaborators.

We are grateful of having the opportunity of participating in this event. We thank all the people that came to our stand and was interested in our project. We will meet again the next year!
