Sin estrellas ni alfombra roja ni tampoco nominados recibiendo los galardones. Así han sido los Globos de Oro de este 2021. Salpicados por la polémica, el boicot y la corrupción, la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera ha dado a conocer los ganadores de este año en una ceremonia a puerta cerrada de la que, posteriormente, se han conocido los nombres de los afortunados.
El Poder del Perro, de Jane Campion se ha hecho con tres estatuíllas, entre ellas la de mejor película dramática y mejor dirección y el remake de West Side Story, de Steven Spielberg, ha ganado el premio a mejor película de comedia o musical.
No ha habido suerte para Alberto Iglesias, el premio ha sido para Hans Zimmer por su banda sonora para Dune. Sin premio también las Madres Paralelas de Pedro Almodóvar y Javier Bardem, nominado por Being the Ricardos.
